5 Coronation Garden Party Cocktail Ideas

With the coronation right around the corner, we've put together 5 classic cocktail recipes that can be made quickly and easily in bulk to serve you and all of your guests throughout the day.

1) Summer Punch – Serves 8-10

    A classic refreshing cocktail. To make, simply grab a large bowl, fill with ice, add the lemon juice and sugar and once the sugar is dissolved, add everything else in.

    • 125ml lemon juice
    • 50g caster sugar
    • 250ml elderflower liqueur
    • 250ml vodka
    • 500ml apple juice (Bradley is best if you like it sharp)
    • 125ml sparkling water
    • ice
    • fresh summer herbs like lemon verbena, mint and basil (optional)
    • lemon slices (optional)
    • Simple Sangria – Serves 6

    2) Simple Sangria - Serves 6

    Chop fruit into a large bowl and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon in. Add in the drinks and leave in fridge overnight before serving.

    • 2 chopped oranges
    • 2 chopped pears
    • 1 chopped lemon, 1 juiced lemon
    • 200g red berries of your choice
    • 3 tbsp caster sugar
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • ice
    • 750ml bottle light red wine
    • 100ml Spanish brandy
    • 300ml sparkling water
    • Perfect Pimms – Serves 3-4

    3) Perfect Pimms - Serves 3-4

    A must have at your Coronation party. Simply fill your jug or pitcher with ice and pour over your pimms and lemonade. Optionally add mint, lemon, fruit or cucumber to complete.

    • 200ml Pimm's No. 1
    • 600ml lemonade
    • mint sprigs, sliced cucumber, sliced orange and strawberries, to serve
    • Ice

    4) Pink Gin Cocktail - Serves 6

      Grab your pitcher, pour in your ice and mix in the pink gin and lemonade. Top with your prosecco and stir gently.

      • 300ml Premium Pink Gin
      • 900ml Lemonade
      • 150ml Prosecco
      • 12 Fresh strawberries
      • Ice

      5) Elderflower & Apple Gin Cocktail - Serves 8

      Mix gin with cordial into jug/pitcher with ice when ready to serve and divide amongst 8 glasses. Top glass up with apple juice, apple slices and finally ice.

      • 250ml gin
      • 200ml elderflower cordial
      • 1l apple juice
      • apple slices and ice, to serve
