How to make the perfect cup of hot chocolate?
We've put together the winning recipe for the microwave and on the hob.

Firstly, what do you need?
-250ml of milk
-1tbsp cocoa
-1-2tbsp brown sugar
-25g dark or milk chocolate, chopped finely. Leave extra to grate at the end.
-Squirty cream
-Mini marshmallows

For the microwave:

Step 1) Very simply add your milk, sugar, cocoa and some grated chocolate into a microwave-safe mug until you have a paste like mixture, stir and gradually add more milk.
Step 2) Microwave for 30-60 secs at a time, continuing to stir and mixing in more milk if needed, until hot and ready.
Step 3) The bit we have all been waiting for, a generous helping of cream, then using some of that grated chocolate and marshmallows!

On the hob:

Step 1) Put the milk, cocoa, chocolate & sugar into a small pan and use a medium-low heat until steaming and make sure the chocolate has melted. Stir using a whisk to help dissolve the chocolate.
Step 2) Once ready empty into your mug and here comes the fun bit, add plenty of cream and add some chocolate shavings for presentation and taste. Marshmallows are also acceptable and highly recommended!
